It Began With Light
It all began at 6 p.m., with the last light passing through the stained-glass windows of the Sagrada Família.
For a brief moment, everything became quiet — somewhere between light and dream.
That moment began an eight-year exploration of glass, from traditional stained-glass techniques to lampworking.
Eight years later, SOMNI was born.
An attempt to capture a fragment of the light that once moved me so deeply—and to share it with you.
Somni means dream in Catalan.
Dream is also the meaning of my own name, and to me, no word describes glass better than “dream”.
Dreams are fluid, elusive, fragile and without boundaries—just like glass itself.
These qualities shape every SOMNI design.
We use premium borosilicate glass for its clarity, durability and lightweight feel.
Our jewellery is finished with 925 sterling silver, silver-plated brass or stainless steel components, depending on the design. Selected earrings are also available with resin posts for metal sensitivities. If you require a specific material, please contact us by email before placing your order.
